  • An Open Letter to Smith College Students Rallying to Help Darfur (Sudan)
    :
    the Road To Hell...
the following letter was hastily composed and delivered by hand to Smith College students meeting to organize letter writing and banner campaigns urging President Bush to take military action in Darfur. The students fail to recognize that the US is and has been covertly militarily involved in Darfur for some time. (Darfur is about oil, but it is not only about oil. It is also about "regime change" and progressive groups in the US otherwise critical of US military warmaking pursuits are now advocating US military "involvement" to alleviate the humanitarian crises in Darfur -- which, this investigator contends, the US is at least partially, if not wholly, responsible for to begin with. The real tragedy is that due to the one-sided media bliztkreig about Darfur, good, caring people -- like these students -- don't have enough information to make informed choices. )

(the situation in Sudan is grimmer than ever, and the Darfur conflict remains widely mischaracterized. Meanwhile, the "Save Darfur" advocates pressing military intervention in Darfur as a "humanitarian" gesture have escalated pressure in the face of mounting failures, including allegations that millions of "Save Darfur" dollars fundraised on a sympathy for victims platform have been misappropriated. )

Published 29 October 2007 by keith harmon snow. (President Bush meets with Uganda's President-for-life Yoweri Museveni in the White House on October 30, 2007. Meanwhile, a broad swath of Africa is engulfed in interrelated genocides and covert operations involving both the U.S. and Uganda, there is a growing demand to probe the accounts of "Save Darfur" to find out how the tens of millions collected are being spent due to allegations of arms-deals and bribery, and the SAVE DARFUR movement has become the false flag action of the West, supported by most everyone, people who know little or nothing about what it is they are supporting. )

    :
26 December 2006: PUBLISHED LETTER BY ERIC REEVES

A 26 December 2006 letter to the editor by English professor Dr. Eric Reevs published in the Daily Hampshire Gazette maintains there is abosululety no link between oil and murder in Darfur, Sudan.
